I loved "you can be king again" as well. It definitely drove in the emotions of the fragility of life. I watched the full movie right after seeing that AMV. You should try Natsume Yuujinchou, if you haven't seen it. It's by the same creator.
Sad that the singer passed away at such a young age, though :(

I think my problem is that a lot of them are very long and I just don't have the attention span for it. Also I've never watched anime before so it's all a little strange to me. Like the exaggerated reactions and everything. But I'm not against it, it's just different.
I guess I'm looking for shorter animes (under 30 or 40 episodes) that have good characters and story. I also like emotional shows, so anything that makes you think afterwards or has an emotional story.

Keep Your Eyes Open AMV was one of my all time favorites since it came at a time in my life when I really needed that pick-me up since I was going through some tough times. I haven't even watched half of the anime in there, but that AMV got me to track down and watch some of them.

Have not watch them in ages, but few I remember:
- Spirit Never Dies Anime AMV, probably my favorite, and thanks to it I found out about band Masterplan, its lead singer at the time, and 5 other bands that I listen to this day.
- Stop Watching Anime and Go Outside!, just to put little smile on a face
- Wamdue Project - King of My Castle (official video with lyrics), song/music is not my type, but at the time I saw it originally, ~20 years ago, it led me to find out about this new cartoons.
- Delerium - Silence. Final Fantasy 8 HD, maybe not AMV, but it took me ~5 years to find out that footage is from the game and not, unreleased to the world, CGI anime.
