Binding of Isaac Golden God Save File

So I got Golden God on the Binding of Isaac a while back and when I went to play it to get some practice for the soon to be released expansion I found the save was gone.
Being Flash I assume the save files were deleted when I did my monthly great ccleaner purge which is fairly disappointing.

Anyone got a save file to upload for me? I don't want to even consider starting again. The start of the game is extremely tedious.
Looked online for something and although my google-fu is weak, couldn't find anything.

If you hurry up, you could always try to find it with Recuva.

Have no idea when it was deleted. Could, and most likely, have been ages ago. It seems to be a common problem with a lot of the flash based games. I believe I had this problem with VVVVVV before it was ported to C.
You'd think by now they'd have a way of creating a secure save file.

I've had the same type of issue. I'd installed the BetterPrivacy add-on for Firefox to get rid of Flash cookies from ads and such, only to discover that I'd also lost my Machinarium save games. I think your guess about CCleaner being responsible is right.

Skills? It wasn't really that hard to be honest. Once you learn the enemey's movements it becomes child play. It got to the point where depending on what items I got in the first few levels I could estimate how far I could get in the game.

Not to mention how over-powered Cain is. :p

I have 50 gameplay hours and just need the non damage on womb achievement to get the golden god, so i think that a better player can get the golden god with 40 hours or so...

Don't need the no-damage achievements to get Golden God. Just all the items.

Well I don't really know what to say to you apart from that I did it. The game isn't too long, playthroughs usually take an hour at most.

To get all the items in the game you just need to complete the game 11 times, generally you'll have the majority of the items by the 11th win. After that you either just play around a bit or try to grind for items using the D6.

Now this is much more different with the DLC and it seems the DLC items have a much higher chance of spawning than that of the non-DLC items.

You have no idea how many times I restarted playing the same games all over again (after my little cousin replaced the saves with his..)

For example, I had 149 stars in Mario 64 and he started a new save. :[

Something is indeed better than nothing. You'll have define "quite a few items" though. The thought of having to drag Eve and Maggy through Sheol again is painful.

I just noticed Steam Cloud says the game data occupies 0 space.
I guess it means that since I uninstalled it long ago when the data disk comes out I will have to start from scratches despite having unlocked every item?

Could I get a copy of that save file also? I lost my save file after my hard-drive broke down. I had Golden God, Basement Boy, Spelunker Boy, Dark Boy, and Mamas Boy. I'd really like to continue Wrath of the Lamb from where I left off.
