Towns is still for sale and that's not a full game...
Don't Starve is still for sale and that's not a completed game either. (It is an awesome game in it's beta phase and only gets better with every update, on just went live a few hours ago as a matter of fact)
Valve seems to have a problem lately with not actually checking to see if claims made by game devs about their games are actually true. o_O

I somewhat reconciled myself with the developers after reading everything, but when the new statements from Titov went online, I just could not take it anymore... That was some blatant lying on his part
Quite happy that War Z is not on Steam anymore

"Sergey Titov was the lead programmer on Big Rigs"
Well, this explains a lot.

I feel bad for the dev. It was all those stupid customers, reading the description wrong! Everyone knows that 100 sq. km is the same thing as 9 sq km! And saying there are Skills and Classes is the same as having no available skills and classes! And then those evil customers take out their inability to read descriptions correctly on the poor, poor dev. Such a sad story.

So much win here. Way to go Valve. You have restored faith in Steam.

This would seem to validate the criticisms that have been directed towards the game and the developer (which have been numerous) that honestly have been going on for quite some time now, even before the game was "released" on Steam. Those same criticisms have existed for months, yet some people insisted on dismissing it as just mere trolling or trying to stick it to the WarZ fanboys. I hope everyone learns something from this. When there's that many people saying similar things and trying to warn others, there is definitely something going on. There are examples of bad developers out there who put their marketing/propaganda powers to work to try and deflect attention from and conceal the flaws in their shoddy work, and are just looking for a quick cash grab to take advantage of unsuspecting or uninformed buyers. Had someone from Valve been paying attention they would have seen this coming. It comes as no surprise to me at all that there is huge controversy/drama surrounding this game given what has been reported about it before. Valve dropped the ball big time on this.

wtf
EDIT: Apparently you can request a refund if you bought the game from Steam and you don't want to play the game at it's current state. Just write a ticket on the Steam Support Site.
