Could use some help

I won a giveaway and now the dude is saying he doesn't have the gift url because his brother used the code. Problem is he has had it for the past 2+ weeks and says he never saw it. He won't compinsate me in any way. Is there anything I can do?

Nope, just mark it as "not received" and cry a lot.

I know, that's diappointing when it happens but I does :-/

edit : was there not a guy who did not want to gift something because his winner had "stalin" in his name ?

Nope he said "My brother used it". I told him I didn't believe him and he said "You're being a dick" and then logged off. He didn't removed me but he logged off.

Well just mark the game as not received, I don't think there's more you could do. If you suspect he never intended to give the game in the first place I suppose you can report, becuse fake giveaways are a reason for uspension (IIRC), bu if he says the code was accidentlly used maybe that's reall what happened.

Just mark a not received and forget.

edit ; I just mentioned "stalin" in your username because there was a thread about something like that one or two weeks earlier, I thought it was related.

This was my old steam name and I changed it. Too lazy to change it here. Also he stated his brother used the keys on his account as I stated above and my name isn't something he should hold against me. And you would have to. I won the game fair and square.

Really? I played both of them. Something like this happened to me before with CSGO. It took like 2 weeks before my cousin saw that I had it.

Well, unfortunately for you, everyone else has games show up instantly except for a few rare titles like Serious Sam HD: Episode 2, both of your newest wins not being part of that short list. So, a reroll for two unredeemed wins is allowed for the gifter.
