What kind of data are you giving them and you don't want to? The mail is not mandatory and the rest of it is you giving them suggestions how would you like them to create the next games in the franchise. I quote somebody from their forums: "I would say a recent example of a company taking and using user feedback is Creative Assembly with the newly released Total War: Three Kingdoms. It’s a massive success and many people say it’s the best Total War game to date, and this was in part because they made good use of user feedback and players got the changes and game they wanted. Kudos to them!"

That's exactly the point. I don't want to give them any data. We're talking about Microsoft, after all. Any suggestions will most likely be used to maximize their profits. Tell them what you want and they will find a way to charge for it. Besides, any new release for Age of Empires will be Win10 exclusive, so I don't see any reason why I should help them.

There's a survey posted by Microsoft asking Age of empires related questions. So if you want to be heard, have your say here.
Update: Some say that it still woks.
Update 2: Microsoft just announced Xbox Game pass for PC. Read here about it. One part especially sounds good for Age of Empires fans: "We will continue to add to the more than 20 Xbox Game Studios titles on Steam, starting with Gears 5 and all Age of Empires I, II & III: Definitive Editions."
