I have yet to play it, I know it's supposed to be co-op but I think you can play single player with an AI partner, in the store it's listed as "Single Player" too: http://store.steampowered.com/app/620/Portal_2/

The story campaign is single player but there is an additional co-op campaign with those two adorable robots.
