So far from what I checked there's 2 'story based' DLCs - Nightmare in north point & Zodiac Tournament, right?

Are they both worth getting?

The rest of the DLCs are just skin packs and weapons right? Or am I missing something?

I really hate it when games have like 20 DLCs I get lost rather quickly

Supposedly, the story ones are utter crap, filler.

You're alive!!!!! :D

I think there may be a couple of others with more than just additional cosmetics, but those 2 are the main ones.

The story DLC's where short.

I did like the zodiac tournament one though, it reminded me a lot of those old 70s Kung-Fu Movies.

The Nightmare one.. well, it was kinda fun beating up "zombies" but nothing you have to have played.

If they are on sale for a low bargain, I'd get them.

Well theyre both 75% off now. So they're short mm? Any praticular achievements these unlock?

The Nightmare in North Point DLC allows you to get three extra achievements (two are unlocked by getting through the missions, the other is for completing everything), the Zodiac Tournament DLC doesn't have any achievement.

Zodiac Tournament. Nightmare in Northpoint. Square Enix character pack for the lulz and weapons.

I bought Sleeping dogs when it went on sale a month ago, without any DLC. I LOVE the game and decided to buy the following DLC today. I would recommend playing the game without ANY DLC and then buying them later.

Sleeping Dogs: Police Protection Pack

Sleeping Dogs - Tactical Soldier Pack

Sleeping Dogs: The SWAT Pack

Sleeping Dogs - Street Racer Pack

Sleeping Dogs: Nightmare in North Point

Sleeping Dogs: Zodiac Tournament

Sleeping Dogs: Law Enforcer Pack

Sleeping Dogs: Wheels of Fury

Oh? why play it without DLCs first?

I think it would ruin the game, having over powered weapons/cars/clothing. That's just my opinion though, I would recommend buying the game and then buy the DLC as a gift, so you can unlock them later

I recommend the same, you won't get a feeling of progression if you activate the DLCs immediately. You'll get more out of Sleeping Dogs if you buy them as a gift and unpack them after you complete the story.

I see, how about buying and activating the two 'story based' dlcs then? eventhough, now I see the others have missions in them too. This is so confusing!

You can activate both of those, it shouldn't hurt, but I wouldn't play Nightmare in North Point until after completing the story because you start with a fully upgraded character.

This is actually very simple. Unlike trying to sort out Darksiders2.

Buying Zodiac Tornament and Nightmare in North Point will not ruin the single player game, since Nightmare is a standalong and I dont think the zodiac gives you any big advantage. Buy all of the other interesting DLC as a gift, or not at all. If you hate the game, you will not want the other DLC

The SWAT Pack - includes a bunch of mini-missions I really enjoyed, just beware they're really mini and last like 20-30 seconds once you get to the location. You can repeat them though.

Wheels of Fury - you get through a few missions with your prototype car and it ends up getting really badass, I really enjoyed it. Should last maybe 30-45 minutes.

Zodiac Tournament - integrated with the base game, unlike Nightmare in North Point. It's fun if you like the martial arts part in Sleeping Dogs, should last you 30 minutes or so but I believe it's worth $1.25

Nightmare in North Point - lasts two boring hours, repetitive as hell, save file not compatible with the base game. Only worth it if you completed everything in Sleeping Dogs and are craving for more.

Square Enix Character Pack - Bought if for the lulz, you get the Rico outfit anyway if you already own Just Cause 2 though.

I liked the Dragon Master Pack.

The vehicles, outfits, and missions it adds are nice.

Here are a couple of 'Quick' looks from Giantbomb:

Zodiac Tornament DLC -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5FuzsgexoE
Nightmare at Northpoint DLC -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyeZWWe0WyU

Those should give you an idea of what they are about.

Also, Wheels of Fury DLC -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldeOUlFPOz0

Just stay away from the Top Dog, High Roller and Red Envelope ones. At the current prices, you can't really go wrong with the rest.
