On a side note, always wanted to create a movie thread or group where we would pick a movie each week a discuss it.

Sort of like an online club. Not a bad idea. But instead of here, why not start a steam group for that?

Because groups with GAs get a bigger response, and ive been in a similar group while i was there a big group of people didnt even bother following the rules, which was to communicate.
Something like BLAEO works well, but they have more on offer.

I'm a horror fan and I gave the first 45 minutes before turning it off. Sorry. but it was not good. Nor was it even scary.
But that's just me.

At some point you dont really get scared from horror movies. I dont like cheap horror full with jump scares and i think this 2 movies delivered a good story with decent horror and tension. I had goosebumps at some points of the movie. What kind of horror movies do you recommend?

The first one is good in how it builds a creepy atmosphere, with some loose jumpscares here and there. But wasnt the sequel filled with Jumps scares?
there is the nun on the painting scene that starts very invitive and well done, and suddenly she just pops into reality and runs forward with the frame on her face like an idiot.

By not having it, its not like they suffered any physical harm from her anyway. There is nothing wrong in just having an ominous scene.

Hmmm. That's a tough one.
Maybe Zombi
The Host
Prom Night 2
The Divide
The Blind Dead movies were fantastic.
Dead Alive AKA Brain Dead was funny and disturbing at the same time. But ONLY watch the directors cut. The standard loses a LOT.
If I can think of a few more I'll post them.

The original Pathfinder from Nils Gaup is great: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093668/

John Wick and John Wick 2 if you want pure action.
Seriously, these movies are pretty much just a compilation of amazing, long scenes of combat and gunplay choreography.

About the title of the thread, the correct word would be "Recommend a movie" and not "Reccomend a movie" ! ^^
Actually about the movies I can recommended, I would pick Tomb Raider & Gravity recently, seems interesting, about series, there is Black Mirror & Stranger Things that are really great, you should throw an eye on it ! ^^

Someone recommended Three Billboards to me recently and I've been meaning to watch it. One of my favorites is Pulp Fiction, one of the few that I can keep watching more than couple times.

Since I've been on a movie kick again lately, having seen some of the best from last year and plan on seeing the new Avengers movie, I thought this would make a good topic for us all.
So in this topic, we make movie recommendations, not to ME, but to ALL users here. It can be any kind of subject matter or genre including anime movies (OVA). Just post some here so we can all share what we like.
And you can post as many time as you want if you happen to see a new movie that you want to recommend.
I'll start with a few, especially the last three excellent ones I recently watched.
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
Last Flag Flying
The Shape of Water
And a couple of others to recommend to you all.
The Seventh Seal A TRUE cinematic masterpiece.
Pathfinder An interesting little known movie
Dollman vs. Demonic Toys I LOVE this little gem.
So, I hope this can help us all find something new to watch. Thank you all that add to this.
Lets have some fun here now.
