A Dota 2 question

You sir are a lucky and yet generous person :) You have brought joy to many dota 2 fans who got to have a key for the beta :) Including one of my steam friends who doesn't miss an oportunity to throw it in mah face and tell me he already poured +100 hours into it -.- And myself, that got to watch your nice stream for a while :) Chhers

I went on playdota and the only key giveaway I saw was for accounts made before the giveaway started.

And I won that and I get 2 gifts, but they're already gone.

It is likely to remind 'closed' until release. They are scaling their servers as they add more people (send out invites). The only way to get in will be to get an invite or get invited from somebody who got an invite. Now, invites are send to people who signed up and are not in the beta. No, extra gift copies are given to existing beta participants. Obviously, because they will likely sell them.

If you want to increase your chances of getting into the dota 2 beta, you can do the following:

• Find newly formed dota 2 communities, they are likely to try get a batch of invites. I believe one such community giveaway about a 1000 invites recently.

• Keep a eye out for good deals on trade forums

• Win a giveaway

• Wait a while and get lucky
