Premium membership or gold do not give you any advantages over non-paying people in battles? You can earn credits and lvl your crew/tanks a bit faster, sure but the difference is not that bad. The tanks that you can buy with real money are also not overpowering in any way.

I am playing WoT for some time now, and i can say its not P2W, why:

  1. There are only "booster pack" in form of a premium account which is 50% more exp and credits. (10€/month)
  2. There used to be ammo which was for money only, but they changed that a long time ago and now you can get it for credits (a bit expensive than regular ammo, which is fine since you don't want to shoot it all the time(you don't need to)), and its not more dmg, its only more penetration (chance to do dmg, sort of speak)(if you know to play your tank, you don't need it)
  3. There are premium tanks, which are credit makers, but they are worse tanks than other similar tanks of the same tier. They are not OP in any way, they are worse. But they make more credits.
  4. When you play tier 9-10, you start to lose credits on regular acc since repairs and ammo are expansive, but, in my opinion at least, best tanks and the most fun ones to play are tier 6-8. I have no interest in going for tier 10 tanks.

Its not a perfect game, there are some a bit unbalanced tanks, some unbalanced maps and such, but they are balancing them all the time. And I can understand that they are not Valve and cant go full on F2P.
But for the enjoyment i had from it, I didn't had to pay. But its not for everyone. Easy to learn hard to master.
