There is a giveaway by the game's publisher Digerati Games. You need to subscribe to their mailing list and they will then send you a GOG key for the game. Since I'm not allowed to post the link by SG rules, if you want it, go to the mydealz.de site, search for the game's name and then click on the green "Zum Deal" button. The key will expire in 2 weeks, if left unused.

For reference, Slain: Back From Hell on GOG.

Digerati Games:
As a "Welcome Present" I am giving you a free copy of our best selling game Slain.
Why?
Well, I want you to have a chance to play the types of games that Digerati publishes.
We distribute free keys every day at 7AM PST time because so many people are taking us up on this offer. Thank you for your patience.
The key will arrive in an email from news@digeratidistribution.com. In
that email will be a special link to the Good Old Games (GOG) store.
Click on it to claim your copy of Slain.

You know it's funny we can post giveaways from Humble Bundle, even though those require you to sign up for their newsletter and even link your Steam account yet this one is against the rules...

well...we know and trusted Humble for a long time, would you rather takes free stuff from a trusted providers or some shady ass website?

I used a disposable email specifically created for this stuff, so no info sold.

You use www.mydealz.de just to find Digerati's web site, you do not have to tell your e-mail to them.

The email adress is provided to digerati via mailchimp, the mydealz website is not involved with the email subscription thing, there is nothing to fill out there, only a link to be clicked that takes you to the mailchimp form.

Digerati themselves are promoting the giveaway: https://twitter.com/DigeratiDM and like others have said mydealz.de is just to go to the newsletter, all legit here.

They won't accept disposable emails though. I won't risk getting more spam for a game i already have on steam, unless GoG connect brings it to my GoG account.
Thanks for sharing anyway.

To trust an unknown site or not to?
I'd like a GoG copy as I have it on steam but I also don't trust unknown sites.

It's a conundrum.

No conundrum. You dont have to trust.
Use a trash email and get your key!

If you have it on Steam why do you need it on GoG?
It'll appear in GoG Galaxy anyway.

It's not the same. One is DRM locked with Steamworks, while the other is totally DRM-Free... and GOG Galaxy sucks.

Ok, I'll be honest. I want to gift it to my RL friend. And trading has failed me. I'd buy it but I missed any deals.

Well, it is what it is and I'll find a way. Maybe next good sale.

The site is just a means of finding it because the OP cannot post the link. The mailing list belongs to the publisher of Slain - it's not malicious & because they use Mailchimp you can unsubscribe when you want.
