Im not so sure. It is very targeted towards a specific niche of players, and those players are likely happy to pay the high price. Even if they dropped it to $10, I am unsure how many people outside that niche would buy it.
You know, I am incredibly curious as to what this game is like. It does have the potential to be very interesting... or very boring. I remember playing Cross Country Canada back in the day, which was about driving big rigs, and was extremely fun. That was back on windows 3.1 I believe, before we even had trackballs on the school computers.
