Is it okay to join if I have first the Dead Island game?

• I love Fallout world and lore, Fallout is great!
• I really like New Vegas, but never got too much into Fallout 3, I need to finish it.
• Fallout 3 was my first, but I got overwhelmed by it the first time. Later tried NV and loved it!
  (Never tried first and second Fallout, not my type of a game. As more tactical, turn based, isometric view type of a game.)

Fallout 3 was first, liked new vegas as well.

My first Fallout game was Fallout 1.

Hard to say which was the best as I think they're not entirely comparable and my opinion tends to change over time.
I'd say fallout 1 over 2 or brotherhood of steel. (didnt like BoS). And new vegas over fallout 3.

Fallout is fantastic, my favorite being the little known Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel. My first was the original Fallout, circa 1997.

I stuck in New Vegas, and don't know if come back to this game. Didn't play in any other parts, but have 1st and 2nd part. I would say my feelings towards fallout are ambiguous.

I started with Fallout 3 and played through it thrice. Over 300 hours on that one and this makes it my only huge playthrough of a game too. It is also my favorite and I can't wait for 4! Thanks for the giveaway. ^_^

Yes. I played Fallout 3 but didn't really like it. I like Fallout New Vegas a lot though!

Can't say much about Fallout, never had the time and/or the chance to try out one of them. They do look interesting, but as with all rpgs, you need time.

My first was Fallout 2 from CD-Action...thats where my love to Fallout series starts

I love the fallout series of games. Started back in the day with FO1 . Still an awesome game.

F2 was too big and IMO unfocused on what it wanted to do due to the size of the world. BoS was a good game for squad tactical turn based a good game (well, the genre has only a handful of good games), but lacked the epic storytelling of previous FO games.

FO3 was a mixed experiences. It was great walking around in the first or third person view in the wasteland, but it was afflicted with sandbox disease and bad storytelling compared to the first two games.

FO:NV was bug ridden, but a much better FO than its predecessor.

Sadly, both of the new FO games felt too much like a modded Oblivion and weren't true to the FO spirit IMO.

I haven't played Fallout yet, but I got 1 and 2 on GOG, so there is hope for me.
