As I am a scientist I must say that this is incorrect- you must be willing to disclose the nature of your research to the participants when asking for their participation.
You may not want to divulge the details as it might create bias but the general nature must be available to the participants so they can make an informed decision about their willingness to participate.
You have not even said in which field of study you are working.
Even in cases when you, like you are now, making a "blind" test you must inform the participants of the detailed reasons why you are making a "blind" test.
Also, you may not include people under the age of 14 without their legal guardian's/ a person in charge of the institution at which the data is being collected approval.
No to mention that the data collected in this way, without the proper procedure for gaining participant's agreement for participation makes any data you might collect basically useless unless you are willing to falsify some facts (not that I would blame you, I remember what a pain getting participants was when I did my bachelor's) .
As you're only at the bachelor's level I understand that some of this might be new to you and I hope you'll see that I'm saying this with best intentions at heart. Colleges can sometimes be... hmmm... less than forthcoming with the full extent of the information the students need to make a good research :)
