First stop on this train of obscure games is a generic RPGMaker game that, while not bad, isnt the best either. Meh, I preferred To The Moon.

The sad thing is that there are a lot of really good games made with RPGMaker. It's just that they're not commercial or if they are, they're not on Steam (yet). So actually good games, games with original graphics, and games that are so cleverly programmed that you wouldn't believe they were RPGMaker engine... gamers miss.
Mind there is a lot of crap out there too. But there are a lot more gems than people suspect.
