Sorry, it's an old key I got with in some "game bundle". I don't think it's possible it got "outdated", but maybe it did? Other keys from this bundle seem to work just fine. I'm sure it unused.
What message does Steam give to you? Just "invalid key"?

It's possible that this key is invalid in your region, which is strange, since it should be GLOBAL key.
