Thank you, I was really interested in this game, seems unique.

You're welcome and good luck! :D And oh it is. But be warned - it's quite difficult, but in a good way. I wish those guys will succeed and make more. It reminds me of how CDPR started, with Witcher1. It had depth, you can feel and see that passion they've put into their game and its the same with Alde'rs Blood. It's like a beginning of something big.
And holy cow what a time devourer the game is.
18h of playtime and counting D:

Yeah, I remember when the first Witcher came out it was pretty rough but they stuck with it and updated it and now they are a powerhouse.

Everything starts somewhere. Even the mighiest stars and blackholes were once nothing but dust and cluster of particles.

First, thank you LadyFuzzy the giveaway! :)
Secondly: Juryman00, i can link you a short gameplay video from one of my favourite youtuber, if you are interested. :)
Comment has been collapsed.
hey I want that link too! :D finding an interesting youtuber is even harder than finding a cool indie games those days. YouTube is even bigger mess than Steam. You can't find shit in there :(

Hey LadyFuzzy, sorry for the late answer.
Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yxmdr1i7DTE
Reformist is my favourite foreign youtuber. He picks interesting games, plays a lot of mount and blade (one of my favourite game), he is always calm, funny, he speaks clearly and his voice is perfect. :) I'm supporting him on patreon too.
I hope you will find his contents interesting. :)

Thanks for sharing the giveaway, and for your views on the game in the comments.

my pleasure. There is sooooo much crap on steam nowadays. So every time I find something remotly valuable - I try to reward the developer by sharing it with others.

Thanks for the giveaway! I backed it on their Kickstarter, but it unfortunately failed. Glad they still got to release it!
Comment has been collapsed.
one failed - but apparently once they've teamed with a publisher - 2nd time worked :D

If I saw there was a second one, I for sure would have backed it. Thanks for the heads up! I'd just outright buy it now, but with the world the way it is these days, no unnecessary purchases until things settle down again.

Oh I can relate. What a weird times we happen to live in :(
Stay safe. We'll get through this.

Will do. Keep yourself and those close to you safe as well.

Nice, I wishlisted this game the moment I randomly came upon it while browsing the Steam store a while back! Thanks a lot for the chance (and also thanks for confirming that the game is indeed good) :)
Comment has been collapsed.
no prob. Glad to be any help :D But remember - come to the game with mind open. They use a lot of new stuff and systems. Maybe that's why they aren't viral hit already you know? Its as far away from maintstream as possible. But I wish them luck. I remember Darkest Dungeon was initially also pushed away by players due to novelty and flesh perspective. I hope Shockworks will follow their big brother's steps heh.

Alright. I have no problem with games trying to be innovative though, assuming that the gameplay is still good and not some awful, needlessly confusing mess :D
Comment has been collapsed.
Same here. Actually, the innovation is what pulls me to indie games. AAA don't even pretend they are trying anymore.
Comment has been collapsed.
Hah, agreed. Remember how it used to be that AAA was a staple of quality and Indie games were this hit-or-miss barely working thing? It's almost the exact opposite nowadays O.o
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah I don't even. What happen? When and why? I know I am brining a cursed word to the table but.....
FIFA
'nuff said lol
Comment has been collapsed.
Electronic Arts happened :D And somehow, gamers seem to have came to a conclusion that all the shit major AAA companies are throwing at us is acceptable. They don't even need to try anymore /facepalm
Comment has been collapsed.
Ahhh... and they do it over and over and over. And peopel don't learn. This is what I am not getting. Look at us. Look at others. Anybody I talk to have it same as we. We are all surprised. We don't understand how such things slides by. And it appears, that everyone's agree, right? YUou go to twitter, to facebook, to discord and we are all united in this case.
Then who the F is buying all those shovelware?!?!?!??!
Comment has been collapsed.
Unfortunatelly, there is still plenty of people who will buy or even defend those games :/ Because people just HAVE to have the new shiny thing, just because. It's honestly pissing me off :D
Comment has been collapsed.
And its ruining the standards for all of us :/ Because other developers watch how AAA low efforts make money anyway - and they follow the lead. The worst bit - I can understand that. I mean, you're working your ass off and the other dude does the absolute minimum and gain the same.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, absolutely. Todd Howard is mocked for saying "it just works", but he's not wrong. It does work for them. And the AAA industry will only get worse, because the companies know they have nothing to fear. They know people are still going to give them money like good little drones. And the younger generation of gamers is growing up in this, this is the norm for them! That's the most alarming thing.
Comment has been collapsed.
Not entering because this is not my thing -- but the game looks absolutely fantastic and I hope fans of the (multiple) genres are happy.
Awesome giveaway LF, especially for your first giveaway on SG!

Thank you! :D I hope they'll make so much cash that Netflix will come knocking at their doors to do a TV show XD

I had picked up the free Prologue a couple of months ago when it was released on GOG because it sounded interesting. Nice to hear that the main game is good.
Comment has been collapsed.
I would risk saying its much, much better and different (I played the prologue too). To me - Hunters are like Lovecraftian and more badass Witchers.
Comment has been collapsed.
I haven't actually gotten around to playing the Prologue yet - still chipping away at that backlog queue but I'll get to it eventually. :-)
Comment has been collapsed.
oh don't get me started. I got like 300 games in my libs across epic, steam and gog.
I feel ashamed but I am not sure did I played even half of them ;___;
Comment has been collapsed.
Don't worry you're not alone - I have all those and then some - UPlay, Big Fish, Arc, GameSessions and so on. We live in an age where games and guilt about not playing them are plentiful but time is scarce. At least the quarantines give us time to work on our backlogs! :-)

haha yeah. It feels wrong to say anything positive about this covid situation but... that is a positive. First time in years I started to actually enjoy my free time, not just waiting for the day to end
Comment has been collapsed.
Indeed - I haven't had so much free time since summer vacation back in my school days!
I also remember the feeling of guilty happiness on those occasions when we'd get an unexpected day off at school because someone important had died and we were supposed to be mourning!

oh my god yes XD I mean, everyone's sad, and we ll are suppose to be sad but deep inside I was - YEAH MORE VIDEO GAMES TIME XD
sob sob "What a tragedy" sob (launches my fav game) sob "such a sad time"
I am a terrible person.
