Key from Humble Bundle.
I love playing visual novels and I love making them too. If you want, you can check out the latest visual novel I've made on Steam.

Hey, wishlisted your game as well ^-^ good luck
PS: Can I ask how much time you put into the game and what software you used? Would be interessting to get info directly from a Dev.

Thanks!
I use Ren'Py to make visual novels. It's quite easy to use once you spend some time with it. It can do pretty much all that's required for the average visual novel.
I didn't work on the game all at once (had to wait for an artist to finish some of the characters), but in total I'd estimate the time taken to be about 4-5 months.

Thx for you reply, highly appreciated! :)
I would love to make one day my own project, but I guess I would fail hard on the lack of skills for descent artwork ^-^' (for example in your game it looks really well compared to other VN in the same price range)
PS: When you say 4-5 months, you mean full time or part time work?

I meant full time. While there were days where I didn't work as much, in general I spent many hours each day writing the story or on the computer programming the visual novel itself.
As for the art, I certainly didn't start making visual novels with this quality artwork. My first visual novel (used to be on the Play Store) was actually made using a free character generator for the sprites. When I started earning a bit then I decided to spend a good portion of what I had saved up to make higher quality games. I suck at drawing, so I always need to commission artists to draw my characters.
