Description

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration includes the base game and Season Pass featuring all-new content. Explore Croft Manor in the new “Blood Ties” story, then defend it against a zombie invasion in “Lara’s Nightmare”. Survive extreme conditions with a friend in the new online Co-Op Endurance mode, and brave the new “Extreme Survivor” difficulty. Also features an outfit and weapon inspired by Tomb Raider III, and 5 classic Lara skins. Existing DLC will challenge you to explore a new tomb that houses an ancient terror in Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch, and combat waves of infected predators in Cold Darkness Awakened.

KEY FEATURES:
Lara’s Journey – Lara uncovers an ancient mystery that places her in the cross-hairs of a ruthless organization known as Trinity. As she races to find the secret before Trinity, the trail leads to a myth about the Lost City of Kitezh. Lara knows she must reach the Lost City and its hidden secrets before Trinity. With that, she sets out for Siberia on her first Tomb Raiding expedition.
Woman vs. Wild – In “Rise of the Tomb Raider,” Lara battles with not only enemies from around the world, but the world itself. Hunt animals to craft weapons and scavenge for rare resources in densely populated ecosystems. You’ll encounter beautifully hostile environments, full of treacherous conditions and unstable landscapes that will require Lara to push her limits to the very edge.
Guerilla Combat - Use the environment to your advantage, scale trees and dive underwater to avoid or takedown enemies, configure Lara’s gear, weapons, and ammo to suit your play style from stealth to guns blazing, craft explosives on the fly to sow chaos, and wield Lara’s signature combat bows and climbing axe.
Return to Tomb Raiding – Tombs are back, and they’re bigger and better than ever. In “Rise of the Tomb Raider” you’ll explore huge, awe-inspiring ancient spaces littered with deadly traps, solve dramatic environmental puzzles, and decipher ancient texts to reveal crypts as you take on a world filled with secrets to discover.

Heads up to check the winner, I own the base game only and thus enter giveaway button still shows up for me :3

Amazing game. And the story DLC is pretty damn good too. Good luck. Also I have the full game with season pass, and I can join. So beware.

Are we allowed to enter just for the DLC?

This. Can we enter for the season pass?

Asking about this as well. I have the base game from Humble a couple of months back. If entering is not OK, I'm happy to withdraw or agree to a re-roll. And thanks!!

Oh yeah, "stealing" from someone who want +1 on steam. (I don't saying about you, I'm just using similar logic)

Gorilla Combat - Use the environment to your advantage, release scaled creatures from trees and drive opponents into an underwater void to takedown enemies, configure Lara’s gear, weapons, and ammo to suit your play style from stealthy to gorillas blazing, fly explosive crafts to release chaos sows, and wield Lara’s signature combat bananas and climbing apes.

Fixed.
..And then, uh, fixed some more.

Hey, is this the actual 20 year edition or is it the one from current Humble Monthly? Because if it's the latter then it's just a base game, without the DLCs

People are wondering if you're allowing those who have the base game to enter. (I don't even have the base game, so I'm not worried.) In any case, you probably want to check your winner.

Thanks for the wishlist giveaway. )

What's the difference between Digital Deluxe and the Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration edition?

Both are just base game + Season pass, right? On the game page on steam it says nothing else about it, so was just wondering.

I did a lot of research into this.

  • Buying the 20 Year Celebration Edition will get you the base game, the season pass, and the 20 Year Celebration content
  • Buying the base game + season pass will get you the 20 Year Celebration content (thus making it the same as the 20 Year Celebration Edition)
  • Buying the Digital Deluxe version gets you the base game + season pass, so you also get the 20 Year Celebration content as above (thus making it the same as the 20 Year Celebration Edition)
  • If you buy ONLY the base game, and don't want the full season pass, you can still buy the 20 Year Celebration content by itself, without buying the season pass

So, if I own the base game and I wanted all DLC I shoud buy the season pass in order to get everything right?

Permalink

Yeah, if you already own the base game, the season pass will upgrade you to having all the same content as the 20 Year Celebration Edition, including the new 20 Year Celebration content.

Thank you for answering me. I didn't enter this ga because I don't think it's fair but I intend to buy all content so it's always good to know theses things. :)

If this is the early purchase for the Humble Monthly this month as stated above - it is only the base game nothing else - no season pass or dlcs, just the game.

If that's true, the winner will have to put a "Not received" or agree to have the GA deleted. But the GA description seems to confirm this is actually the full package.

It could very well be mis-listed, but the answer is still accurate to the question. The difference between the three versions (Digital Deluxe, 20 Year Celebration Edition, and base game + season pass) is that there is effectively no difference.

Well that answers that question - it was only standard edition. Is there a better way to communicate questions like these to the GA makers?

So basically the same then. :) Was just wondering since the game image says digital deluxe, but on the link I can only see the 20ye.

Thanks for the extensive research! :)

I wish they had just made this clear on the store page! I had to really go looking for it when Humble first announced it was including the base game in the Monthly.
