I wonder if combat gauze would save lives and ease racial tensions;
black people tend to suffer from high blood pressure, I'm wondering if that might mean that given the same injuries that they are more likely to bleed to death;
combat gauze has chemicals to help stop bleeding,
so maybe:
police could routinely carry combat gauze
black community could start a "carry some combat gauze" social campaign
or maybe a "have a trauma kit in every neighborhood" campaign
first aid/light trauma could be part of school curriculum.
