I'm waiting for this to begin. Yes.
As for show. Well. Maybe i'll go with something still fresh - Fargo for it's dark humour. Yes. [Though i rated Breaking Bad one star higher].

Right now, Elementary is the only show I watch regularly, as it doesn't have some Big Overreaching Plot.
For others, I wait until season ends to not get cliffhangered.

Its pretty unknown but the japanese show "Liar games", which also got a Manga adaptation, is my favorite show by far.
An innocent, naive girl receive one day a black box with a letter. Show opens the box and in it are 10million yen. The letter stated that she will enter a contest when she opens the box... to bad she already did! In this contest two participants try to steal the money from each other... but how it goes on you have to see for your self ;)
The show goes pretty hard on logic and plottwists that blow your mind into space. And when you think you figured the trick behind something out BAM back-hand slap in your face... YOU KNOW NOTHING JON SN... well you get what I want to say.
Also the first intro is soooo good (there are two seasons and two movies-> those are the season finals)

Oh, that's a tough one. I have dozens of shows I watch, lots of them would be strong contestants for the top spot. Putting the "big names" aside my latest obsession was Sense8, a netflix original. Just... 3 more....months.... *withdrawal symptoms*
Another promising one is a brazilian surprise, surprise, netflix original, 3%. First season sets the foundation for something that can go both ways, it will prove to be good or it'll prove to be very, very predictable.
Another honorable mention for Black Mirror. A UK production and shocker, NOT a netflix original! It's an anthology with independent episodes that revolve around the relationship of the human race and technology, and the effect technology has in the modern era.
foot-note honorable mentions: Orphan Black, 12 monkeys, Heroes, The Expanse, Easy, Penny Dreadful, Skins(UK)
Super tiny-honorable mention: The Golden Girls

I've seen a few of those but Penny Dreadful is my love. Eva Green was so beautiful and Reeve Carney was a delight to see.

Actually it's hard to choose one... Twin Peaks is one, for this how modern it is even now although it was made 25 years ago when TV series were rather unimportant, not creative, treated like something lower than movies
And I'll give second - Doctor Who, it's just make me believe that there is some kind of child in me :p it's just phenomenon, how fantasy tv-series can be so important and how it inspired many great modern sci-fi movies and series and books and etc. etc :)
