For some people loneliness comes with emptiness. That empty feeling inside that nobody comes close enough to fill, black hole trapping all emotions inside leaving you emotionless marionette, carried by the flow of life. When it comes to connecting with people that same black hole starts pushing everyone away, leaving you someone people avoids.

You can overcome this by indulging yourself in positive activities, make yourself busy as much as you can, mostly in things you enjoy doing because the more you become busy the less you have time to become emotional to emptiness. I had the same feeling you said too but even though it hasn't been fully overcome, it has become better by being busy in my job and when I'm at home then play games or do chores.

Same here, I'm a depressive person when alone so I try to keep my mind busy and socialize as if nothing happens, the problem is all those feelings and dark thought are still there waiting for that moment of weakness in which you are all alone with yourself.
We can evade the problem as much as we want, but it will be there, hunting us, the best we can do is endure it and stay positive that it will eventually get better.
