Today is the first rest day and some riders will be happy to see it while others would rather just continue on; it takes all sorts. The rider in the yellow jersey won't get much rest; there will be quite some interviews and sponsor obligations waiting for him.

Today is also the first day after EURO 2016, good day for a soccer game, no? ;)

We'll be in the Principality of Andorra today; a sovereign landlocked microstate. Andorra is the sixth-smallest nation in Europe, having an area of 468 km2 (181 sq mi) and a population of approximately 85,000. Andorra's tourism services an estimated 10.2 million visitors annually. It is not a member of the European Union, but the euro is the official currency. In 2013, the people of Andorra had the highest life expectancy in the world at 81 years, according to The Lancet.
