I bought The thing from another world some time ago in Britain from Play.com. It's a 2 DVD box with the movie in 3 versions (Original, Original Remastered and Colored in)

Likewise... sometimes it's better to wait and see whether a title improves or not, a first bad impression can mean "on the shelf for life."

The game looks promising but I never understood why dev's launch games at such a poor state. It is very rare for devs to be able to fix it to the point that it repairs the damage done to their rep. If it is a cash thing, I kind of get it but still, I would imagine that postponing a game is better than launching a half finished one :/.

I watched The Thing about a week ago... I've seen it quite a few times. It's definitely one of my favorite films. The 2011 film wasn't amazing, but I did like it. I was so glad it wasn't a remake. Anyway, thank you for the giveaway, Pete. (:

Bummer to hear it wasn't received well. The asking price on Kickstarter was too much for me, but I did throw in at the Meow Meow Jones level, so hopefully I can pick the game itself up from here so I can meet Jonesy!
