Not that very episode will be remade. But I can't wait for both Monster Boy (its spiritual successor) and the remake of The Dragon's Trap from Master System.

That remake of the first Wonder Boy seems questionable in quality terms and looks more like a cheap mobile game. (I will still give it a try as a Wonder Boy and Monster World series fan.)
The real deal will be :
Both started as fan projects (a spiritual successor and a remake) and have been acknowledged by the original creators and Sega for their quality to be officially licensed and included in the series.
