Sleeping Dogs is my favourite, I think it nailed its genre perfectly. At the risk of that being suggested a lot though, Roundabout is a lot of fun! I personally prefer it with a controller. Happy gaming!

I agree, Sleeping dogs was much more fun than GTA IV =)

Mount and Blade: Warband. I love its novelty, I never played anything like that before or after :)

I recently finished replaying Darksiders (and getting 100%) so that's what I go for here. It has some problems (including not being very comfortable to play without a controller and controllers not working properly if it isn't one for the XBox) that are a deal breaker for some people but I had a lot of fun nonetheless. What did I like you ask? First of all the music, it's just spot on. I kept whistling the main theme for hours after I closed the game. The art style probably isn't everyone's cup of tea but it certainly is mine. In terms of gameplay it's still a hack and slash game but it really feels like your playing style makes a difference in terms of surviving. You have enough weapons and combos to not get bored but not enough to get overwhelmed. Finally: The boss fights. I admit they could be a tad more complex but they suck me in nonetheless and gave me a feeling of accomplishment after finishing.
Edit two hours later: Arg, when writing such long comments I always forget to enter the giveaway afterwards. xD

I may be biased, since I'm a bit of a Harry Potter nerd, but the LEGO HP game was definitely a lot of fun for me. The attention to detail really impressed me and while I wouldn't call the gameplay 'deep', it was enjoyable all the same. There were small Easter Eggs scattered pretty much everywhere in Hogwarts, and as far as lego games go, it was beautiful.
TL;TR: You get to play as Lucius Malfoy! What else could you ask for in life?
