It is mistaken and mislead to see Gud as an atainable goal or a fixed measure.

Because gud is not positive. Gud is a negative amount of good- the difference between your current level and the next tier.
Gud only exists as not gud enougth.
The thing is theres always a next better tier. Always.
The truth is you always need to get gud because you're not gud enough

Thats why getting gud elluded philosophers and lured poets since the dawn of time.
We all seek to get gud but alas its never gud enough. Its a mirror to life itself and hapiness, and the very cornerstone of the human character, our need for more, our need to get gud.

Thats why its timeless and so precious, and why you can't get gud enough
And if you disagree or doesn't understand thats normal- you're just not gud enough to do so yet.

So get gud!
