Violent first-person games aren't usually my first choice of genre, but I've recently become quite interested in the Dishonored franchise as it seems to have a lot to offer beyond just blood, guts, and gore. I've added both this and the forthcoming Dishonored 2 to my wishlist, and am looking forward to trying these games out in the near future. I very much appreciate the chance!

I totally agree with that. I don't like violent games either. Dishonored is one of the very very rare games that allow you to play without a single blood shed.

Yes I fully stealthed this game and I didn't knock out or kill anyone ;) Killing in Dishonored is totally avoidable.

i don't think there are a lot of games that allow complete stealth.
not talking about the games where you don't have weapons anyway and can just knock out. those with a full arsenal? nice.
now i'm very intrigued ;)

Most games allow full stealth actually. At least within the Stealth genre. The problem is with pacifism because usually for story purposes you need to kill someone so it's forced on you. Dishonored and Thief are rare gems that allow 100% pacifism. They even have achievements for it :)

I remember loving the speedruns of this game, the SGDQ 2016 one was great, they prevented the queen from being killed :p

The answer on a given topic. In an RPG I prefer to play a wizard (basically using offensive magic). In adventure and shooters preferences ranged weapons(bow, rifle)
