do you not have the original game then - by which I mean did you try with the new free version only and it did not work? (only I was wondering what the new free version installs as - is it a new subid ?)

If you get only this, you can not use Mods.
It seems that only multiplayer can be enjoyed.
Steam：Offworld Trading Company - Core Game
If this is introduced, Mods can be applied.
You can also enjoy single play.
Request Core
