Favorite period in history? i think The Age of the Samurai: 1185-1868 and world war 2 01 Sep 1939 – 02 Sep 1945 . . but if it was anything i think the 70s and 80s . as the world seemed happier back then . going buy pics and story's from people . whats your Favorite period in history Tsukichild?

First World War aka Great War full of military absurds regarding English, French and other european forces at that time. I can recommend "The Guns of August" by Barbara Tuchman (PL title: "Sierpniowe Salwy") who names them in details and precise matter stating the facts on basis of military records and diaries leaving the sole judgement to the reader - just perfect position for every knoledge hungry nerd. :)

792 A.D. - 1066 A.D. The Viking era in Medieval Europe is my favourite period in history. Especially the viking invasions in the Saxon kingdoms of Britain and later England.
