The first part feeled like R-Type and similar ones from a time long long ago.
Really good and i bought the game for full price after playing the demo.
But it was difficult. For my taste a bit too much.
I wanted to relax at the time of bämmm, boom, peng all that i see :-D
I should play it again and look if they worked at the difficulty.

This game kinda reminds me of of an old, now completely unavailable, game called Dr Phlogiston Saves the Earth. It was real fun... back before its dev axed it and the entire website it was hosted on (because Jagex are the worst!). Guess I'll keep my eyes open for the first Jets'n'Guns then.

Ironically, Jamestown is too fresh, it is not even a decade old. This is why I left it out, it is not a childhood game in this regard, but a game that also banks on the childhood classics. Thankfully, one such gem pops up every few years in these old indie genres.
