I bought Civ 5 and all the DLCs year ago but have never gotten into it despite many, many comments like yours I've seen. Maybe I'll give it another go in the upcoming days :0)

Civ games can be a real time sink but in a good way. They all have that one more turn gameplay and next thing you know, it's 5am in the morning!
If you win this one, you won't need to win another game to keep you occupied for a while :D
