I am afraid this game does not come with a steam key (assuming it's form the latest Groupees bundle)
Reveal the key and see yourself. I've bought the bundle too and my key is obviously not for steam.

Activation instructions:
Go to Playfield (https://playfield.io)
Create an account (it’s super easy, you can use your FB/Twitter/Google logins or signup via email)
Click on your User Profile Menu (upper right hand corner), select “Activate Key” and type in your The Masterplan key
The Masterplan will be added to your Playfield Library, from where you can get the Steam key and/or download the DRM-free version!
Trust me. It is a steam key.

Thanks! Didn't see that. The key was surely going to rot in my groupees account for a long time.
I doubt it was necessary to add this weird way of receiving the steam key. But I guess advertising comes first.
