Check the most recent reviews on Steam. All the reviews for the past two months say the game does not load anymore.
Looks like it was broken when the 2K launcher requirement was removed. I don't know how they haven't managed to fix this in 2 months but it's a 2013 game so they may not even be trying.
Some players on the Steam forums say it's fixed for them now but others still report issues.
Looked like some of the negative reviews were from January. I feel lucky I managed to play through, as it would be disappointing to run into problems even running it. Not sure I have much hope they'd pour time to fix older-ish games with all the studios and such being shuttered. I mean, if they take down good games like Olli olli, why bother fixing others...?
I'm not sure where the problem is. I can load the base game and the DLC without any issues. I do have a few mods installed (Long War, for example), but I doubt those miraculously fix the game.
I own this yet I'm still able to enter. Please check the winner.
