oO, the key was for "Offworld Trading Company Core Edition", which contains the offered DLC. But unfortunately Steam seems to get confused by this double activation and shows that I still do not own the DLC.
Do you know how to solve that?
(one solution could be to delete the giveaway - but then you do not get CV.
maybe there is a solution that removes my old activation of the base game from steam?)

shop page of the base games still does not show the DLC as owned, but the DLC page now is correct and that is hopefully what counts 8)
