When the epic music starts and you know the protagonist is about to kick some ass

Thanks jbond, as for favorite moment I don't know, I just like learning about character's pasts. At least if it's an interesting past lol

I've watched a few animes, though I'm still a total noob.

That moment when they zoom in on a face where someone goes all "Ghaaa-aaaah..." and looks all shocked and dramatic while they're getting stabbed is pretty fun! (^w^)

Depends on the anime. In some, I like the sad parts, in some I like the funny parts.

My favorite moment in anime would definitely be a scene of "Mahouka koukou no Rettousei". Probably the one where Tatsuya stands on a roof very far away from a tower with a lot of higher-ups of some gambling company inside of it. Tatsuya speaks to them over voice communications and slowly executes all of them with his pistol even though he is still on the roof a very large distance away.
I seem to be one of the only ones to prefer this scene, there are a lot of video's about Tatsuya on youtube, but can't seem to find this one.

Well, maybe.. I always love seeing them fight the Nevermore in season one of RWBY. That scene is so intense and I love the song. So yeah, that scene.

Most of my favorite anime aren't the sort that really have great "moments" in that sense, but... it probably has drills in it.

The mad scientist scene is great, though.

My favorite is from Haibane Renmei, when Reki finally remember her dream

Basically the climax of FMA: Brotherhood.

In general my favorites moments in animes are when the mc or the mc waifu confess her/him love for each other :3

I really liked this scene. Also as others said, I generally like when unexpected things happen.
