I am still waiting for a reply on the ticket that I made, and I am not sure if I should keep waiting for one or close the ticket and create a new one in the hope of a faster response time. I don't want to look impatient, but it has been a while now.

Ah mods must be busy I guess. The turn-over time is not uncommon so I'd recommend not removing it because you will be back at the end of the line so to speak. No rush on my part, was just curious :)
