A steam giftable copy of Sleeping Dogs in my inventory. The best way I can describe Sleeping Dogs is Grand Theft Auto with less guns, a Batman style melee combat, all of which was directed by a Hong Kong movie director.

Why? Why? WHY??! I have a 80 points to enter? Every Sleeping Dogs giveaway has 80p, while it costs 49.99E and 39.99$
What's wrong?

I had similar problem with my giveaway Portal 2. Users wrote, that it cost 2x normal points

Not really. As I wrote in first comment, in my location (Poland) it costs 49.99E... but now it has only 40p to enter. Straange.. some ghosts or sth? ;)

I've read about that, in the forums. Probably a ban, yeah. Ask the support about it. Meanwhile, keep an eye on the giveaway, and as soon as it costs 40 points to enter, ENTER!

Posted on the forum about this a while ago. Someone replied saying when Steam puts things on sale sometimes it messes up the giveaway points temporarily.

I had the same problem here. I removed my entry, and only got refunded 40 of the 80 points. But now the entry costs 40, so 40 of my points went down the drain.
