Our careless way of using plastic for the simplest things is crazy.
It's nice to see these small changes.
But look at the waste companies produce.
Clothing store (can't speak for every but I know some major labels handle it exactly like this): Every single item gets send to their stores with their fucking own plastic wrap.
Advertisement coming to every household - wrapped in plastic.
Tons of paper and plastic every week for stupid ads.

Something I also don't understand is America's apparent obsession with straws. I almost never use one unless it's put into my drink by someone else. Then I just use it cause I feel like a waste throwing it away without having used it :p
There's so few instances where you actually need a straw to properly enjoy a drink.
Sadly I think it's mostly global - FastFood & on the Go is such a huge think and whoops... another could have been avoided waste if I brought my own cup.
