I mean, the first key I got from the giveaway creator was a dupe. But he promptly gave me another key which worked just fine and was activated on my steam account on August 26th.

I can confirm that the package is not showing up in the "http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/<mysteamid>/games/?tab=all&sort=name&xml=1" output, since it is a DLC. The free base game however does show up.
The package does show up in the output of http://store.steampowered.com/dynamicstore/userdata/ (which apparently can only be access by the user itself, from what I've learned...)
