I myself am in cancer treatment for the moment (1 week of radiotherapy to go and 4 more weeks of chemo to go, then another gastroscopy with biopsy and then Elohim willing I'll know where I stand.)
this news saddens me. I do not know you personally, but from what I can see here, you're a good person. you have to meet this challenge, fight and never give up!

I'm transiting daily between my home and the nearby local hospital. It's only a 5 minute drive and I'm picked up at my home and after the treatment I get a ride back to my home. So I don't have to drive myself. Thank you for your wishes Heilurmes!
The time it takes to detect a cancer is so vital for the survival chance and treatment.

Thank you for your wishes Kajoona. When I beat this; Elohim willing; my first achievement will be a glass or two of Chenin Blanc preferably a De Morgenzon Reserve from Stellenbosch, South Africa.
You see for several months now what I eat and drink a lot of fish and water is according to Doctors orders and wine/alcohol is clearly marked on the prohibited list.

It was not a nice experience.

I'm sorry to hear that this dragon was also causing pain in your family.
I have my ups and downs and most of the time some pain. The worst for me personally are the awkward side effects of the treatment like diarrhea and vomiting.

Before I was diagnosed with cancer I liked to drink a glass of wine so now and then from my own modest wine cellar but alcohol was one of the first things that are on the forbidden to eat and drink list. That wine is a nice and dry white wine made by Afrikaners from a nice town in South Africa called Stellenbosch.
