Hi! I am curious what software or website you are using to view the text hidden in the Gothic Universe train car?
When I examine it on a particular website, I can get the text quite readable.

Hi, i have used gimp, windows photo editor and forensically, i got the code pretty clear just not sure how to use it, it doesnt seem to be a code for the next GA even thought its 5 characters, i also played with the hinted cipher trying to decode that code without success.
im also stuck on the steganography puzzle, the only thing steganography related i found on SG is a javascript which gives me a binary from the picture but i didnt find any use of its hex, ascii etc. decoding.
I will not lie, im stuck on most picture puzzles, i can see that the images are encoded but im not familiar on how to decode the either. i cant even find anything using the forensically website.
Thanks for the GAs and hints either way and happy cake day for yesterday

Did you see my hint on the Gothic Universe page (A7)? There is is more in the photo that once code. Another image there that I placed in the first comment might help you find what you are missing. Forensically is what I use to test to see if my hidden text (I use PaintShopPro to place the text) can be easily enough found.
Thank you for the "birthday" wishes. :)

Yes, i did see your comment, i found the helping text "with this there are 3 clues", the code which i can see clearly and a cipher name, the problem is i tried that cipher on the code given, i tried several outputs from the cipher but nothing worked as of now

I had not realized that there was an "automatic" key on the site that I used. I am very new to encryption techniques. Another user explained that to me. Afterwards, it was obvious and I felt stupid. The same user told me that he thinks I did the cipher BACKWARDS.... putting my code thru DEcode instead of thru ENcode. Anyway, try the cipher here... cyptii.com.
Assuming this works for you, I'd appreciate knowing if you had to use encode or decode to get the correct result. I am busy today and am not sure if I will have a chance to check myself. :)

ok, so the issue is that it needs the key "cryptii" to decode it.
I used decode to get the correct code, so no backwards here, it just needs the key to be decoded.

Good news! For both of us! :)
