I just found out that the book I edited and published ("Tradycje kulinarne Korei" - "Korean Culinary Traditions") won "Gourmand World Cookbook Awards" in Poland in two categories "Best Asian Cuisine Book from Books outside Asia" and "Best Selfpublished Cookbook". It is now competing with books from all over the world to get the title for best in the world in those categories. I hope that it will qualify for final shortlist. There are 209 countries and regions participating this year. The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards were founded in 1995. Every year, they honor the best food and wine books and are often compared by journalists to the "Oscars".
