It's kinda sad, cause a lot of people don't have guitars and the cable, but are still joining. I have both, but I don't feel like I'd use it as much as others.

I've got a guitar, but not the cable. They sell them at GameStop downtown though, and it's not that expensive, so I don't see that as a hindrance for joining.
Not having the cable aint a big deal. I do not have it, but definitely I'll buy it if I win (plus there's another way to resolve this).
However, not having a guitar yeah... that's a major prob!
Just make a guitar, its not a whole hell of alot of work but it's completly worth it. You get a custom one of a kind guitar that is yours unlike anyone elses and providing you get the right wood it will have an amazing sound.
If I kept mine and not of sold it, I'd of uploaded a video for you to hear it.
I have 5 guitars, but no cable. Can I still enter without feeling ashamed :D ? I promise that if I win I'll buy the cable !

There is a tutorial, if you want you can skip the painting process and use a jigsaw and sand paper only for shaping if you dont have power tools.
