I'm still going through my old keys ... so far haven't found any other that might be unclaimed. I assume the GA's in the next 4-5 days might come with the request, but not after that. Feel free to hide my GA's for a week or so and unhide after that, and you should be safe! :)
Not sure if you know, but you don't need to delete the GA if it's invalid. The winner just marks it as not received, and that's the end of it. The slot is lost either way 🤷♂️
Oh, interesting. I assumed that the winner marking as not received would be worse for my account standing than me deleting the GA. Are there any other consequences for me if he marks as not received besides me not getting CV?
Iirc if the majority of your GAs is marked as not received, you may get a suspension. (Because then it looks like you either don't know the rules, or deliberately go against them.) But that doesn't seem to be a danger with your current record :)
Otherwise they have no difference in outcome - the ubiquitousness of this "please let me delete" phenomenon is due to a mixture of vain people who want to hide their true record and keep their profile all-perfect, and people who just see others doing it so they do it too. (Personally it bugs me a lot, so I avoid GAs where they really insist on it.)
