I did the same 2 years ago with Baldurs Gate 3.
Sadly the winner only was a "collector", he didn't play it in the month after the win (I checked from time to time out of interest)
Haven't checked for a while, now it says he played 118 minutes, which is nothing for BG3. (He pobably didn't make it out of the character creation xD )
So it kinda was a waste of a good game.
There are groups that require winners to play their games, or are made of people more likely to play. TalePlay. I like Play a Game You Won on SG, though it has no requirements, people are trying to play wins. You can find them in the forums.
I used to collect too, like I thought I'd play a game, but then another came out and I forgot about it. Since I joined PA I only join giveaways I'm actually gonna play and I do play them :) Not all games are good or interesting for me, but I give them a go and the rules are pretty fair
