Hi there. I just watched "Rimworld Alpha 7 Four Settlers ep 1 Four Settlers fall from the sky" and must say I'm intrigued by Rimworld, though it looks really complicated. Is it VERY hard for a beginner to start playing (I've never played Dwarf Fortress either)? Of course, depends of what I've been playing earlier, lots of the Command & Conquer games, and this, I figure, is very different.

Rimworld is actually pretty easy to start and get into, surviving late game can be cheesed but, I try not to as I consider a "good game" as one where its not too long that its a grind and hopefully where everyone dies reasonably quickly :3
Dwarf Fortress is awesome though, I'm a newbie when compared to pretty much everyone. Perhaps avoid dwarf fortress is you don't have a week or so free and available.

Thanks, currently I'm working a heap and playing Starbound but, once Rimworld is stable ish with patching I'll be playing with the maneater and neko mod as a second attempt.
