You may be interested in learning that you can disable the monster in Soma via the menu now (the devs added it as an option a few months ago). That way, you can explore the game to your heart's content, rather than have to rush through the game with the monster chasing after you.
Because I enter a lot of GAs and when I run out of points I need to leave some GAs in order to enter new ones. When my points are regained I re-enter the ones I left and quite often there's a lot of comments by then and I don't know if I said thanks already or not. By using the same comment the site will automatically block it if it's already been posted.
So short answer: To avoid double posting.
