also Rob Hubbard; that man made the sid chip sing
and he took influence from Ryuichi Sakamoto's Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence (which is gorgeous) in a great way in that song

I didn't know that. I really like that movie though, especially mesmerizing performances from Bowie and Kitano. Sakamoto's music was great too.

Nemesis the Warlock is probably my favourite c64 theme. Could be from the same artist, it sounds like it has similar roots.
