I thought you could change what language certain games play in?
In your steam library rightclick the game goto properties and select language. Or is that something else completely?
[Edit]: Well, I just tried changing the language on my copy of TQ, I changed it to French. (German was not on my list) and all the text in the menu showed idtag not found. So it did not work. But looking around online there seems to be a fix for that. Oh well, good luck to who wins it. :)
yeah I havent tried it myself, but someone did tell me that you could change the language. the thing you cant change with german version, is that its censored (no blood i think) and you cannot change that. therefore nobody wants to trade this game with me :(
From what I know, the german steam store has Titan Quest Gold with the following tag: "Low Violence: German low violence version only available with German language"
You can change the countrycode for the store by adding ?cc=de to the webaddress (but don't forget to change it back afterwards (?cc=us or ?cc=uk or what you need) so you can see it for yourself
